The Preparation
Here’s the deal: before applying any ceramic coating, we strongly recommend that your vehicle go through our Paint Correction process here in Brevard, NC. Skipping this step means the coating won’t bond as well, and you won’t get the full level of gloss and protection it’s designed to deliver.
That’s why having an experienced ceramic coating installer in Brevard matters. If it’s not done properly, you can end up with “high spots” streaks or blotches that form when the coating sits too long before being levelled out.
Installation isn’t always simple, either. The more durable the coating (for example, a 9-year vs. a 1-year option), the more precise the application needs to be. And of course, weather matters, humidity and temperature both play a big role in how well everything cures and performs.
